PRIORITYONE BANK PROMOTES CHERYL DEAS


Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Cheryl Deas. Deas will be serving as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Compliance Officer and OFAC Officer for PriorityOne. Barnes stated, “Cheryl has been a valued employee of PriorityOne Bank for many years and we are happy to recognize her hard work with this well-deserved promotion.”Cheryl holds a BA in Paralegal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and is an ICBA Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer and ICBA Certified BSA/AML Professional.  Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Jenny Herrington. Herrington will be serving as Vice President, Controller and Cashier for PriorityOne. Barnes stated, “I am delighted to announce this promotion, Jenny is an outstanding employee and very deserving of this.” 


 

Jenny, a Certified Public Accountant, holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking. She has been with PriorityOne Bank since December of 2012. She has served in many areas of the bank, most recently, Assistant Controller.

 


 

Herrington has also served her community in multiple leadership roles. She is an active member of the MSCPA and of the Mississippi Bankers Association Women in Banking Committee. Jenny and her husband, Jade, live in Magee and have two children, Landon and Brooklyn.

 


 

PRIORITYONE BANK PROMOTES 

Adam Carlson to Chief Financial Officer

 

Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Adam Carlson. Carlson will be serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for PriorityOne. Barnes stated, “Adam is a great asset to our bank and works very hard to help our institution succeed, this promotion is well deserved, and we are pleased to have him as a part of the PriorityOne Bank team.”

 


 

Adam, a Certified Public Accountant, holds multiple degrees including a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. He has also successfully graduated from The Mississippi School of Banking. He has been with PriorityOne Bank since 2017. He has served in many areas of the bank, most recently, VP Controller.

 


 

Carlson has also served his community in multiple leadership roles, including Simpson County Leaders. He is an active member of the MSCPA, as well as the MS Young Bankers and Mississippi Bankers Association. Adam coaches multiple local recreational sports teams in both soccer and baseball and is an active member of the M-Club at Mississippi State. Adam and his wife, Carrie Ann, currently reside in Magee with their two children, Barrett and Langley.

Barrett Howell

 

Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Barrett Howell. Howell will be serving as Information and Cybersecurity Officer for PriorityOne. Barnes stated, “In the time that Barrett has been a member of the PriorityOne Bank team, he has proven to be a very valuable asset to us, we are thrilled to be able to honor his hard work with this promotion.”

 


 

Barrett holds an Associate of Science/Information Technology Degree from Jones County Junior College, and a Bachelor of Science/Information Assurance and Cybersecurity degree from Western Governor’s University. He has been with PriorityOne Bank since June of 2017. He has served in many areas of the bank, most recently, IT Service and Repair Technician, IT Specialist and Technology Officer. Barrett is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and holds CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network + certifications.

 


 

Howell has been elected by his peers as a PriorityOne Bank Blue Ribbon Society Member. Barrett lives in Mize, Mississippi and has one son, Lincoln Howell.

 


 


 

PriorityOne Announces New Board Member

Thomas Dunbar elected to PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank Board of Directors


 

PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank are pleased to announce that Thomas Dunbar, CPA, CFE was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for both organizations.

 


 

Thomas, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, is a Producer at Ross & Yerger. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin.

Thomas is an Eagle Scout and serves his community in multiple leadership roles. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Breck R. Hines elected to PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank Board of Directors 


PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank are pleased to announce that Breck R. Hines was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for both organizations.  

Breck holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with majors in Banking, Finance and Real Estate from The University of Mississippi. He is a Mississippi Licensed Real Estate Broker and an FAA Licensed, Instrument-Rated Private Pilot. He serves on the Ole Miss Business School Real Estate Advisory Board and is President of the Country Club of Jackson HOA.

 


 

Breck is President of Hines Investments, Inc. He is co-owner and manager of several companies including, The District Land Development Company, LLC, developer of The District at Eastover, a $125 million mixed-use hotel, office, retail, restaurant and residential development, and Concord Capital, LLC, which owns and operates commercial properties across the Southeast U.S. Breck also provides third-party commercial leasing and brokerage services to select clients in Mississippi through his partnership with Duckworth Realty, Inc.

PriorityOne Announces New Board Member

Wirt Yerger, III elected to PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank Board of Directors 


PriorityOne Capital Corporation and PriorityOne Bank are pleased to announce that Wirt Yerger, III was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for both organizations. 

Wirt has actively participated in the wireless communications industry since the early days of cellular technology. Initially, he was an investor, board member and manager of several wireless startups including Cellular One, which led to operating cellular and paging businesses throughout the United States and he served on the national board of CTIA for over 10 years. 


Wirt has extensive experience in the insurance and risk management field as he worked at Lloyd’s of London and received his CPCU and was Vice President of Ross & Yerger, Inc. for fifteen years. Wirt has also been active in many community bank start-ups from Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Currently he devotes his time to managing real estate investments, serving as manager of Crown Communications, LLC and serving on the Board of Directors of Methodist Rehabilitation Center and State Bank and Trust.

  

“Wirt is a dedicated community volunteer and leader,” said Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO, PriorityOne Bank. “He is a highly qualified and we are very proud to have him join our board of directors.”

 

Wirt and his family are active in religious and civic organizations including serving on the Board of Century Club Charities. He and his wife, Linda, have four children – Wirt Adams Yerger, IV, James David Yerger, Richard Montague Yerger and John Taylor Yerger.
