Yogi on the Lake in Pelahatchie, an award-winning Leisure Systems Inc. property, has announced it will be upgrading its splash pad to the status of water park. The date is to be determined, but construction will hopefully begin in the Spring.
There will also be one significant addition to the Yogi family this year confirmed Manager David Sparkman. “Cindy will now be living at Yogi on the Lake alongside Yogi and BooBoo.”
“Our splash pad had 13 water features,” said Manager Rhonda Sparkman, “and the new structure will have 79 water features, and will be classified as a water park.”
Included in the multiple upgrades will be new flooring at Yogi cabins on the lakeside. Local craftsman Mark Reagan Construction is doing the work.
