Case Taylor, resident of Pelahatchie and an East Rankin Academy (ERA) senior, was recognized as one of the top 20 football players to compete in the MAIS. An awards banquet was held at the Clyde-Muse Center on the Hinds Community College Rankin Campus on August 5.
Taylor was nominated to be a part of the 2017 MAIS Pre-season All-gridiron Team. This is his second year to receive this nomination. Twenty players from fifteen schools throughout the MAIS were chosen by the association.
“Congratulations to Case and the other young men on your hard work and dedication on the field and best wishes for a great football season,” said new ERA Head Coach Durwood Anderson.
