Bryan Marshall, Pelahatchie High School’s principal, received the Secondary Administrator of the Year Award in February from the Rankin County School District (RCSD). He has served the school district for 17 years, and said that it is good to be recognized, but education is not about awards, it is about the kids. The RCSD is the third largest school district in Mississippi with nearly 19,500 students and 3,000 employees in 28 schools.
