Tommy Lyle, life-long resident of Pelahatchie, started as the Town’s city clerk on May 21. He previously served as alderman from 1989-1993, and mayor from 1993-1997.
“I care about our little Town,” said Lyle, a retired AT&T manager of Network Engineering. “I have been on both sides and bring unique experience to the table. I want to help the Town.”
His great grandfather owned a general store across from where Marathon is now, and his grandparents operated the local City Café many years ago. His son, Chris, owns Lyle’s Power Equipment.
